1 and half Day Safari Tsavo East
1 and half Day Safari Tsavo East
Known as the “theatre of nature”, Tsavo East is home to elephants that simply cannot resist rolling around in the red earth. They constantly spray each other with water from the Galana River to clean themselves and cool themselves. This is the largest protected area in Kenya where wildlife thrives in their numbers. Giraffes, rhinos, lions and buffalo roam the park and the Yatta Plateau, the world’s longest lava flow (300km), will amaze you. It’s a true wilderness area in Tsavo East, which is why you are supposed to always stay in your car, keep to the trails and not harass the animals.
